With so much uncertainty this month, this is the ideal time to get out into nature as much as possible, through walking, exercising, practicing deep breathing techniques and meditative routines. Find creative ways to let off steam, focus on launching projects, and making positive changes. January is the month where we begin to create new goals, start afresh and gain a clearer understanding of the year ahead.

What’s in the Stars this Month

The Nodes in Taurus and Scorpio
On January 19 the Lunar Nodes shift into the fixed signs of Taurus and Scorpio, where they will stay until July 17 2023. The North Node will be in grounded and realistic Taurus and the South Node will be in transformative and powerful Scorpio. This shift of the nodes indicates a new collective karmic lesson that will evolve. The Lunar Nodes aren’t actually planets, but rather mathematical points, that are directly opposite each other in the chart. It is said, that your life purpose is encrypted between them - in the line between North Node and South Node. The South Node indicates your comfort zone, and your habitual place, while your North Node shows life lessons and what you’re striving for in this lifetime.

Venus stations direct January 29 after being retrograde since December 19. This is an impressive week when it comes to matters of the heart and our relationships. Stability, appreciation, understanding, and compassion will spring forth, allowing us to see things in a sunnier light.

Venus stationing direct also implies that we are ready to move out into the world with renewed faith and trust in our hearts.

Welcome Aquarius season. Aquarius is the sign of the scholar, and the mastermind. Freedom loving Aquarius is about taking the risk of doing or saying something that goes against the “norm.” Aquarius is about being able to think outside that common box, specifically in ways that are new to you, or to the world. It asks all of us to take a leap of faith, in all areas, to view the larger picture in front of us trusting our instincts leading to our future. Aquarius the sign of the rebel, especially for a cause. The water bearer’s energy is about contributing to our tribe, our community, society and above all humanity. No discrimination…..we are all one! Aquarius is about breaking up any stagnant old patterns intended for our freedom, and to march to the beat of our own drum. Aquarius is the bringer of change and revolutionary action. Independence and liberation are a big part of Aquarius. Liberate your mind and your freedom will follow. With Aquarius it is time to move into “higher” thoughts, that are outside the box and which we can uplift consciousness….for the betterment of all. We can’t do this alone! During these challenging times it is crucial we keep our hearts and minds open with love and compassion, as a team, asserting and establishing our boundaries that reflect our supported autonomy. We need to be mentally and spiritually ready for this current battle the collective is facing of discrimination, segregation and the enforced tyrannical directives. As we begin 2022 I think we are all holding our breath to see how things will unfold during humanities era of transformation.

This important signal from the Universe was an invitation to slow down, reflect, regroup, review and reconsider all our options. With Mercury entering its first retrograde of the year in mindful Aquarius we are being given the ability to assess our thoughts and mental health. Mercury will enter Aquarius Feb 15 urging us to think outside the box, open our minds to the unusual and share different ideas.
